Millions of people around the world are being affected by an unfortunate disease called Alzheimer's. Not much is known about it and there isn’t a cure for it yet but there are different methods of treatment that could be used. Though the faster we know about it, the better. A patient should be diagnosed in its earlier stages to act before it worsens.
The image beside this text shows a series of abnormal brain waves and an image of the brain coded in different colors that were recorded from an EEG scan.
We built our technology to help those is need. Our device is called Alzheitect. It’s a combination of both MRI and EEG brain scans to utilize both of their vital functions. Alzheitect detects the precise location of neurological activity and recognizes early indicators of Alzheimer's disease before behavioral and neural symptoms occur.
That way, doctors can diagnose their patient earlier on and provide them with the much needed assistance before it’s too late.
We think of it as baking, the parts being our “ingredients”. There are numerous “ingredients” required to “bake” our brain scan. Every one of them is important for the final product. If the process is done accordingly, Alzheitect will be accurate, comfortable, safe, and pleasing to the eye. It has to be so that more lives can be saved and less loved ones would have to suffer the loss of people they care deeply about.
Though there may be a few risks and certain factors that must be considered when approaching such a huge advancement, Alzheitect will prove to be a useful and vital tool for both patients and doctors. Patients would be able to get treated sooner and doctors would be able to save more lives plus use the information obtained from our brain scanner for research purposes.
